Our Community
It is core to our company's mission to support Veterans in our community.
What does that mean to us?
One aspect of our company that sets us aside from other junk removal companies is that we partner with nonprofits, specifically ones that serve our fellow veterans in need. Most of our usable items we collect on a daily basis get donated back out into the veteran community to those veterans coming out of houseless situations and getting back on their feet with new housing and employment opportunities. Looking to join our team?
We'd love to hear from you.
Are you ready to make an impact in a quickly-growing Veteran owned and operated company? G.I. Junk Removal prioritizes the hiring of Veterans and military family members, and works hand in hand with non-profit ReDeploy to support the welfare of Veterans in our community. Our team appreciates the sense of camaraderie they’ve found here as well as the opportunities for growth as the company quickly expands.
We are seeking applicants who are deeply aligned with our core values, which are:
Integrity - Do what you say.
Respect - People, places, and property.
Exceptional Service - Exceed expectations.
Mission First - Get the job done.
Compassionate Approach - We are here to help.
And most of all, we want you to be passionate about our purpose:
Veterans supporting community, and community supporting Veterans.
If you are up for this level of commitment and ready to start an exciting and rewarding career with a purpose and values driven organization, we want to hear from you.
Why Choose G.I. Junk Removal?
When you choose G.I. Junk Removal for your junk removal and hauling needs, you are supporting the Veterans who own and operate our company. Also, because we are local and independently owned, your money stays right here in our community. When you use a large franchise like 1-800-Got-Junk, College Hunks, Junk Kings, etc, a hefty portion of the money you spend leaves the Portland Metro area for good.
Let us be clear, though. We don't view support of our Veterans as an act of charity. (Read more about that HERE) What we know to be true is that the men and women who have served our country are dedicated to service, and work incredibly well as teams. They aren't afraid to get dirty, and they won't shrug off a challenge. Our shared histories of service and sacrifice prepare us to work hard together to get the job done right.
